Ma3mal612 Think Factory launches watercolor workshop under the supervision of artist Salam Kanaan
Ma3mal612 Think Factory, within the framework of the Identity and City project, launched a watercolor workshop under the supervision of artist Salam Kanaan on September 19, 2023. The workshop lasted for 7 weeks and included lessons in fine art, modern visual arts, pencil drawing, and watercolor drawing on the topic of the city and identity with a group of fine arts graduates.
The workshop aims to teach participants the basics of watercolor painting, develop their skills in this field, and enhance their artistic sense, in relation to the city and its cultural and heritage identity: the archaeological old houses of Amman as well as the city’s unforgettable houses.
The training also moved to view the destroyed houses in the city of Gaza as a direct artistic expression of the group’s and Ma3mal612 Think Factory’s solidarity with what is happening from the annihilation of stone and humans.
The workshop was held at the Ma3mal612 Think Factory – Creative and Technical headquarters in Jabal Al-Lweibdeh, Paris roundabout.
